Martine DumaRegistered Acupuncturist
I’m a fully insured, local authority licensed member of the British Acupuncture Council which makes me a safe, cost effective choice to support your condition.
With a Post Graduate Diploma in acupuncture followed by 3 years training at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York which included acupuncture, traditional Chinese Medicine and biomedical science (anatomy, physiology and pathology). I have a particular interest in mental health and currently writing my dissertation for a Master of Science (MSc) postgraduate degree which is researching how acupuncture might benefit patients with a schizophrenia diagnosis. In the last 6 months I have undertaken postgraduate training in fertility and treating pain effectively with auricular acupuncture and am seeing some fantastic results.
I am committed to promoting women’s health, including relief from symptoms of PCOS, endometriosis, irregular/painful menstruation and the menopause as well as supporting those experiencing fertility issues. I also help clients with migraines and IBS as well as long term and complex conditions involving pain and sleep disorders – for example, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis.
If you want to make an appointment at my thriving private practice in Bolton, Monton and Manchester City Centre then please contact me – firstname.lastname@example.org – I’m also proud to be part of Acupuncture Works, Manchester’s accessible acupuncture project which offers low cost acupuncture in a multi-bed environment to those who need regular treatment and for whom private practice is not the right option.
