Deansgate Osteopathic Clinic- Bolton Osteopaths & Physiotherapists
It's great that so many people are still getting outside and running, I know this as we are seeing a lot more runners here in the clinic!Mind you, looking outside today you'd need to be really hardcore 🌨❄️Anyway, just getting out there is great regardless of reason, it maybe to clear your head, for weight loss or you maybe you're on a mission to break you PB. However, you can do so much more with your run than just move. Get to know how you run, look at your stride, your speed, what's a good pace for you to develop you speed, work to a plan for a 5k, 10k or even a marathon. Don't forget you are more than you legs, add some cross training to work on the rest of the body, have a good cool down and stretch routine at the end as these can help you recover from a run, minimise the risk of injury and help you identify areas of tension. Knowing your body with better preparation will keep you not just running but any exercise, without pain and less time seeing me at the clinic. Yes, we are always happy to see you but being without pain, exercising and happy is better.Keep Well, Keep ActiveFrancis PS:If you are having issues running, or foot problems like dropped arches, plantar Fasciitis when you book into the clinic for an injury assessment or treatment we are currently giving a FREE Gait Analysis with any treatment in January. Just mention it when you book in online. ... See MoreSee Less
